Making Full Use of PCB V-CUT Blade
The V-CUT Blade is a cutting blade used by PCB manufacturers for PCB splitting, specifically for cutting V-CUT grooves. The PCB (circuit board) processed by the solid carbide V-CUT blade has a high surface finish, no burrs and other phenomena, which can significantly improve the quality of the processed product. It is the most ideal cutting tool for PCB manufacturers to cut printed circuit boards.
Ⅰ. Blade Life
The new diamond V-CUT blade can cut the effective V range of the printed circuit board with conservative data of more than 30,000 meters (the following processing boards are FR2, FR4, CEM3, CEM, and the board thickness is within 0.8mm~1.6mm).
V-CUT cutters must be ground 0.25mm~0.35mm each time under normal wear and tear, that is, the diameter is reduced by 0.5mm~0.7mm; a new blade must be ground when worn and the gap is not greater than 0.35mm. The number of times is 5, and the service life after grinding is more than 15000 meters.
After the V-CUT blade reaches the end of its service life, if it is not ground in time, the service life of the blade will be shortened, and the wear of the blade will cause greater cutting resistance and tooth collapse, which will increase the actual cost of the blade.
Ⅱ. Criteria for Selection of Blades
1. The 20-tooth diamond V-CUT blade is used for the panel thickness greater than 0.8mm.
2. For the thickness of 0.6mm-0.8mm, 100-tooth tungsten steel blade or 30-tooth diamond V-CUT blade is used for the processing panel.
3. It is recommended to use a diamond disc blade for the panel thickness less than or equal to 0.3mm.
4. Customers choose different angle blades according to production needs. Conventional blades are 30°, 45°, 60°; the smaller the angle, the easier it is to wear. Blades below 30° are non-standard tools. Customers are advised to avoid using them as much as possible to reduce costs.
5. The processing of high-hardness thick panel is halogen-free panels and aluminum panels. Depending on the production materials, the processing speed should be adjusted appropriately during production, preferably 10-20m/min; this can improve the use effect and life of the blade. ; Its processing boards are FR2, FR4, CEM3, CEM1, the thickness of the board is between 0.8mm and 1.6mm, preferably 15-40m/min, to ensure product quality and increase production capacity.
